About Kavii

I am a Year 11 student in Queensland with over a year of experience tutoring Math and programming. I have a strong understanding of the QLD curriculum and assessment style, allowing me to align lessons directly with what students are expected to learn and demonstrate in school.

My teaching approach is based on first principles, focusing on building genuine understanding rather than memorization. I ensure students grasp the underlying logic of concepts before moving into procedures and exam techniques, which improves both confidence and performance.

I maintain a structured, patient, and supportive learning environment, adapting to each student’s pace and needs, whether they require foundational support or targeted exam preparation.

About the lesson

I focus on clear, structured tutoring that builds real understanding rather than memorisation. I teach from first principles, making sure students understand the underlying logic before moving to procedures or exam techniques.

Lessons are usually 60 minutes, including explanations, worked examples, and guided independent practice. I adjust pacing depending on the student’s needs, whether that’s exam preparation or rebuilding foundational skills.

I have one year of experience tutoring programming and Maths to students, helping them improve both confidence and problem-solving ability.

As a Year 11 student in Queensland, I am closely familiar with the QLD curriculum and assessment style, which helps me explain content in a way that is directly relevant to what students are expected to learn and apply in school.

I specialise in Maths and Information Technology for Year 7 to Year 11 students, focusing on making complex ideas simple, logical, and genuinely understandable.
