About Mary
I have twenty years of experience in teaching to all ages - 5 year-old to adult. My qualifications include a BA degree from Trinity College Dublin and a PPGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) from University College Wales. My teaching methodology is tailored to individual need. It is most often the communicative method, encouraging maximum student participation. Usually I present the topic with a vocabulary bank at the beginning, then build on that, introducing phrases and relevant grammatical structures. Role-playing and repetition, grammatical exercises, comprehension and recall exercises, games and songs if possible, all these can feature in my lessons.
With French students I use the bi-lingual method as I have fluent French.
