About Lauren
As an experienced teacher I enjoy seeing students progress their understanding of science, in particular chemistry. Science can feel like a new language at times and I am here to help students unpick that and thrive. I have BSc Medicinal Chemistry from Newcastle University and PGCE from Durham University. I taught within a multi-academy trust for 6 years teaching chemistry, biology and physics. I have been Head of Chemistry in my current school for the last 4 years.
