About Deloris
Deloris delivers authentic stage plays and polished acting courses. For over 10 years working with actors and the production company, the fellow New York native has been giving Houston actors the confidence to move forward in their acting careers. Now there is "Acting In Kingwood" Her motivation to reach out to other areas is inspired As 1 Akins in Humble! She inspires others to reach for their goals and dreams. After an impromptu session with her in person or with our online acting courses our actors feel more prepared with the audition techniques, commercial acting and so much more. She also helps in finding gigs where she sees a perfect fit. "You Are Good Enough"
I started teaching because I would come across many up-and-coming actors with little to no training. Many people would ask me to train them.
Deloris has been directing and producing stage plays since 2012 through her production company- As 1 Akins Productions.

What are your goals as an actor? I work with all types of people that want different outcomes. So I get to know the clients first so I can create a curriculum that fits them.
I have worked with children ages 4 up to adults. Beginners are my main client.
It's important to develop a good business relationship. Make sure you are working with someone who can help you move forward on your goals.

Deloris is a great director and acting coach! She creates a colorful space for actors to bring a character alive within real life stories with substance always leading with an oriented message of The Gospel. What I really enjoy about being apart of As 1 Akins Productions, is the free diverse range I've been able to be involved in from doing tech & sound behind the scenes to performing a roll on stage.
