About Peter
Z A Studio founded by Peter Allas & Robert Zimmerman, is a "Scene Study PLUS" Studio with a modern conservatory approach. Mr Allas has over 35 years od NY Stage Acting and Directing, TV, and Film experience and is a MASTER DIALECTITION! Curriculum includes, Script analysis, Playreading, Film disection, relaxation exersises, and a no - nonsense approach that prepares you for high level industry work. "Class is meant to be a mirror or microcosm of the proffesion." Classes are IN PERSON & "On Line" in SF, LA, & Miami (with more to come).
Having started as a director in NYC with off-off broadway and then regiponal productions ata young age, I retuned to director aftera very successful acting career and was encourage by my mentor whoi was an award winning director after I recieved accolades back in 1995 directing succesful works by John Patrick Shanley and David Mamet. I then coached 2 young actress that wpuld encourage me to teach after they both got a tv series and then another actor friend of my received great reviews for a big film in the LA Times as well after some private teaching lessons.

B.F.A. in Theatre with "Boston University/Fordham University Lincoln Center. Directing & Acting & Languages.
