About Aaron
Young Actors Studio is more than box step and jazz hands. We are dedicated to carrying on the traditions of American theatre as founded by The Group Theatre. We draw our inspiration from Harold Clurman, Lee Strasbourg, Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner. Teaching our actors regardless of age the art of truth and connection. The theatre of the real.

Upon registration students are evaluated in a cold read and coaching session to determine a good starting point for the student. All students are given a "boot camp" that includes basic theatre history, American theatre history and basic acting 101. Students move on to studio work. A typical lesson will include warm-up, vocal warm-up, improve, acting lesson and "studio". Studio is where the bulk of the actors work takes place. In studio each actor has the opportunity to present work to the instructor and class. This work is then broken down, analyzed and critiqued. This process is where the students truly start to hone their skills.
