About Suzanne
We teach a variety of styles and ages. Broadway, Opera, Jazz, Gospel, Elementary, Middle School, High School, College, Adults.
I love seeing the smiles on people's faces when they sing the songs they love in their own style. I started singing solos at age eight. I started teaching voice for colleges and universities when I was 24 years old. Voice is my big passion. I have performed and taught all over the United States and in Europe. I have a doctorate and master's degree in voice from The State University of New York at Stony Brook. I also have a degree in commercial music from Shenandoah Conservatory. We studied Broadway, jazz, gospel, and Contemporary Christian.

I learn about what kinds of songs they like. I learn about their favorite style whether it be Broadway, Jazz, Gospel, or Classical. Since Covid, I have recorded all my vocal warm ups and I share the links with them. If they are an online student, I find resources for them and make a You Tube Playlist of Kareokes. We connect via Zoom. My goal with each student is to create joy in singing and for the student to feel like they have learned important new skills.
