About Juliet
I am Mathematics and Science college student. In 2019, I graduated highschool as valedictorian.
I also have experience tutoring various grade levels. Thoughout highschool (2015-2019), I volunteered as a teacher's assistant helping others understand lessons and complete their assignments.
I am also a fluent Spanish speaker that scored a perfect 5 on the Spanish AP Exam in 2019.
I got started teaching in highschool. My highschool teacher saw I was an all honors student that would complete my school work before the end of the day, so she had me become a teacher's assistant/on-site tutor.
Throughout highschool, I went throughout the school helping students from all grade levels that requested tutoring.
I have experience tutoring children from kindergarden to highschool. I was a volunteer teacher's assistant/on-site tutor from 2015-2019.
From 2019 to 2022, I was a private tutor for elementary children while in college. I would help students understand their course work, work on assignments, help them work on school projects, and help them complete homework.

Working with a new student, I like to begin by asking how they enjoy to learn. By asking, if they enjoy seeing educative videos or pictures, or do they like to learn through example?
Knowing their learning style, I then create an idea how to make the sessions the most engaging I can for the student.
I have worked with students from all kinds of backgrounds and all type of subject needs. I would help students in need of tutoring in Math, English, Literature and Composition, Science, and Spanish.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think students should think about how they like to learn. They should think how the best understand material. This will help them tell teachers how they could present material in a way they will understand and stay engage in class/tutoring.
