Experienced tutor in Basketball in La Mesa, Andy offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Coach Andy is knowledgeable, experienced and great with getting to know my son’s basketball skills & needs. My son who is almost 15 has been working with Coach Andy since he was 10 and he has both benefitted & enjoyed working with Coach Andy. I highly recommend Coach Andy!

Each session was individualized based on what I needed and to progress me towards my specific goals. I was always challenged, but also always encouraged. I can see many tangible improvements in my game.

My son works with Coach Andy in one on one clinics. Andy is incredible at working on the nitty gritty of development and improvement in both player technique and game IQ. His communication style is clear and direct - and his demos and hands on coaching + adjustments are top notch. My son respects him a ton. Over the past few years of playing and struggling with the emotional roller coaster of injuries, he now considers Andy a good voice to have in his head. Andy is an awesome coach and an all around super empathetic guy!

Andy is a patient and grounded in basketball fundamentals. He is a consistent with his lessons and key ideas to improving a players skills. He is honest and truly works with getting your basketball shot down first. He speaks calmly and yet wants players to notice their own mistakes and successes. You can’t go wrong with Coach Andy. Also, as a parent of two sons…I give him space to coach and also ask for feedback after on what to work on at home. Players and parents need to remember that the knowledge provided needs practice at home….

Coach Andy has been invaluable to helping my daughter gain the skills she needed in basketball. He is an expert at teaching every aspect of the game, mental and physical. My daughter went from fighting for playing time to breaking several school records, and we couldn’t have done it without Coach Andy!! Highly highly recommend him!!
