About Val
I teach my students the old school sweet science. I also put a big emphasis on Isometrics core training. I teach MMA, UFC and boxing students the fundementals of feet work and old school striking methods. I work usually with people who want to go pro or people who want to build confidence and want to get strong mentally, physically and emotionally!
I enjoy, seeing people progress and become confident within themselves. It's hard work that takes dedication! I love seeing people committed to self development.
I've been a student of sports and nutrition all of my life. I've played basketball, football, baseball, track and boxing. I am a all around athelete who loves to teach.
I have over 1,000 rounds in sparring with pro and amatuer boxers. I am a one time state lightheavyweight golden gloves champion and I also competed in the state heaveyweight championship in Iowa. I have well over 35 years of boxing knowledge.

The first thing I focus on with new students is strength and cardio. Then from there we focus on footwork then boxing.
I've worked with novice fighters to advanced.
Make sure they use old school teachings and also, make sure they know how to throw punches and do footwork those are the keys to being a successful fighter.
I like the way Amanda Nunez throws her hands, she is by far the pound 4 pound toughest woman fighter right now.

My pricing all depends on what the fighter is trying to accomplish. I also will work with people who financially are strapped.
