About Dwayne
I fought MMA professionally for 10 years. I started as a wrestler and as the sport evolved, I learned boxing because it compliments wrestling very well. I can be found on Sherdog.com under Dwayne Compton (suedanym) I am listed with a record of 3-3 however my overall record in MMA is 10-3 (sherdog didn't exist when I started fighting) My 16 yr. Old son is a standout wrestler in high school and I trained him in this as well. I have taught MMA at Undisputed, as well as grappling at The Ultima in Tucson. I have spared and trained with Don Frye, Frank Shamrock and other UFC fighters. I am a father of 3 and feel that learning basic boxing technique can help you stay in shape and protect yourself if needed. My philosophy is : Fundamentals, Fundamentals, Fundamentals
