I enjoy seeing a new developers ideas coming to life.
To see the flicker of excitment that one feels when they realize they can make anything they can imagine!
I created a game for an Easter holiday youth activity during the pandemic lockdown in early 2020. After the event, a computer engineer who was present for the activity suggested that I try tutoring programming online.
A few months later I really took it to heart, and have been enjoying tutoring Lua ever since.
I started html website programming in 2004, began developing with Roblox Studio in 2008, and in 2016 recieved training from a Lua developer who got me started with advanced Lua programming. Since then, I have made Lua Coding my key focus in Developing.
I have been tutoring lua for over a year now, with over 30 hours of online tutoring experience, and several years of teaching experience in other topics.

I start with basic coding processes to assess how familiar a student is with programming, and then teach foundational concepts that will help in reading and writting Lua commands.
Following this assessment, we start work on modifying code to meet your project goals, or we can begin practicing Lua by working on small practice projects.
I believe that using and practicing new methods is essential to retaining a proper understanding of computer programming.
I've worked with young roblox learners who had virtually no programming experience, as well as grade school and college aged developers who simply ran into a barrior and needed some extra help.
If I can't contribute to your knowledge, I'll tell it to you straight.
If you have significant programming experience with another computer language like Python Java, or C++, then find a tutor who also knows that language.
They can help you transition your knowledge from one language to another, and correlate the differences and similaritys between the two.
