About Sharon
I've been doing cooking demos for many years. I endeavor to make cooking fun and interesting and personalize each class for the individual student. I'm a food writer and lifelong foodie with experience in teaching culinary skills.

What could be more fun than doing what you love. Cooking is a way to get instant gratification from those that are enjoying the fruits of your labor.
I find that I can instill a sense of fun and adventure when teaching, writing and doing videos. Cooking doesn't have to be stressful or intimidating.
When you love to cook and have fun with students the teaching part comes naturally! I originally started teaching Wilton Cake Decorating Classes and the rest is history!
I am a lifelong foodie with coursework in individual skills. I have written about food for national and international publications, have done recipe development for large corporations, done food videos on my YouTube Channel and for individual corporations, done food presentations for organizations and large groups, and have taught individual classes. I also endeavor to make learning to cook fun!

I like to speak to each student personally to determine their goals. What are the most important things the student would like to learn, what is the skill level of the student. Each class is custom taylored to meet the needs of the individual.

Make sure the teacher is compatible in personality or is able to adapt. Also, make sure the teacher feels comfortable teaching in the specific area that you are interested in.

What specific skills is the student interested in learning.
Is the student interested in learning how to make a particular dish or learn a specific skill used in many dishes.
