About Victoria
I work best with students from grades 7-12 mainly because I’m 18 and sophmore in college, so I understand the mindset as those students. I’m well versed in many subjects included opposite disciplines. I was a chemical engineering major student at the Claremont Colleges, before transferring to New York University for Business and Film Production. Thus, I have rich practical, applicable, and science background; but I also have creative and humanitarian perspective to the work I approach.
The great thing about tutoring and teaching others is that it helps me solidify and remember what I learn, almost giving me review lesson to myself. I also think part of the challenge is that students don’t learn all the same and approach the subject from different angles is always a challenge I’m willing to take. I do admit it is challenging teaching someone new and there might be some fustration, but there no better satisfaction than having concept finally click.
