About Macy
Hello my name is Macy and I am a professional dancer, teacher, choreographer and voice over artist from San Diego, CA. Falling in love with dance at a young age I started teaching dance at age 9 and quickly became a strong leader with in my community as Assistant Dance Director of Joan MacQueen Middle School and Shadow Hills Elementary School by age 14. I am a proud alumni of the world renowned AMDA college and conservatory of the performing art studying in Hollywood, California and Manhattan, New York. Training with industry professionals such as Donyelle Jones from So you Think You Can Dance: Season 2, I have attained my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Theatre, performed work shops with Disney, University of Hawaii, worked with networks such as NBC and CBS, and performed internationally on tour with Ooh La La Dance Company in Asia. Now currently residing in San Diego, California I am bringing my experience and knowledge to as many people as I can.
Lessons In: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Choreograpy, Dance Fitness (All Levels Welcome)
Education: Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree Dance Theatre
Certifications: CPR/AED Certified
Since I was a little girl I loved to dance! I simply enjoy teaching dance because I love to share what I'm passionate about with others. It gives me such joy to really watch someone grow under the art form in to such confident individuals. Breaking someone out of their shell and building them up to feel beautiful, strong, and happy while having fun is my main focus and pride!
