About Michael
Learn to dance to your music, anywhere, with anyone. FLOW is a kinesthetic language, empowering us to lead and follow all styles of dance, interpret all styles of music, and dance in any scenario we choose. We identify the three relationships of FLOW (Mind on Music, Body to Body, & Core and Floor), train them, and use them, permitting our own styles of dance. Flow Studios was created as a result in the lack of understanding and education in how partner dancing really works. After researching and developing a curriculum, we now pride ourselves in teaching the basic principles in relating to the music, connecting and communicating with our partners, and combining simple movements to produce killer dance moves.
While teaching ballroom and social dance, I decided there must be a way to make dancing accessible and stimulating for everyone. The skills acquired from dance are too valuable not to make it so. My single focus has been to evolve dancing into a language that can be applied to everyone's choice of music, choice of partner, and choice of dancing scenario, thus opening the doors to all and making it as easy as possible to dance. This has lead me to the creation of FLOW, a versatile dance structure (and curriculum) that works for all music of today and tomorrow.

I like to start new students out with a free introduction lesson. We will discuss your dance goals, have a shortened dance lesson, and then put together a dance program that ensure's your hapiness and success.
