About Abigail

Ever since I was a child I’ve had a passion for writing. Throughout my school years I learned that I also love teaching people how to write and op Writing presents.

I have officially been tutoring for a few months, but unnoficially have helped numerous people in younger grades and grades equivalent to mine with success. Including some with learning disabilities.

I have won numerous writing competitions and have been published in the Herald in October 2017. I have also helped create blogs.

I am currently in college pursuing a teaching degree with an emphasis on creative writing.

My inspiration to teach mainly stemmed from helping my younger brother with his engish throughout the years. He has learning disibilities which motivated me to engage my creative drive and skills to help him succeed.

I have tutored kids younger, and in equivalent grades in the past. I am in college with goals to graduate with a degree in teaching with an emphasis on creative writing.

About the lesson

Firstly, exploring the childs way of learning, and his interests. Identify the childs weaknesses and strengths. Work with the child until we figure out how he learns best.

I have worked with middle and high school kids. On a few occations I've helped college students. Ive also worked with kids with learning disabilities such as, dislexia, ADHD, and asergers.

Choose someone who is willing to help you succeed in character as well as acedemically. A whole new world is opened up to an indivual through different areas of English. Theres so much more to English and Literature than just mere reading and writing. It can be character building. It can be motivting. It can be theraputic. I urge you to pick a tutor who can not only teach you how to build sentences, but a tutor that can do that and help you find the opportunities English offers.
