About Abby
Hello! My name is Abby! I have a strong passion for drawing and painting and the joy it brings to people whether it's academic related or just for fun/ wellness! I have been a freelance artist in my free time for a few years now and have drawn many requests for others on commission or just as gifts. I specialize in portraits of people and animals. I am a little newer to painting but I have basic skills that I would love to share! I also painted a mural of aquatic creatures on the wall at one of my former jobs. I can also do portraits on an etch-a-sketch! I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am a teacher's assistant at an elementary school and before that I worked as a youth care specialist at a residential facility for children/ adolescents. I also have worked at the same residential facility as a summer camp staff -facilitating art projects and other activities. I am very paitient,caring and encouraging! I love helping others by encourging/demonstrating to help them reach their full potential and see their confidence shine! There's nothing better than that!
