About Peyton

Hello! My name is Peyton and I am a senior at UNC Charlotte. I am studying Middle Grades Education and will be certified to teach both English Language Arts and Social Studies. I am passionate about working with students and want a chance to practice using my skills. I am still a student myself, so I have a good understanding of what teachers are looking for and how to help students progress in these subjects.

I love working with children, especially older students. I really enjoy helping students progress from where they are at, as well as helping them find something enjoyable in a subject they may dislike.

I have worked with children in and outside of the classroom. Inside the classroom, I have assissted teachers and taught my own lessons in preparation for my student teaching semester this fall (and my future career as a teacher beginning next spring!). As an education student, I have learned countless teaching strategies that will help my online tutoring services. I have also taken multiple English and History classes, in which I learn the content and learn how to teach it!

About the lesson

English lessons offered by Peyton are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Charlotte. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

I am open to fair prices because I am new to online tutoring and not yet a fully certified teacher. I also understand these are hard times, so let's work something out!
