About Kayla

I am a 13-year girl trying to get a jump start in my dream job, being a teacher! I am currently attending Guillen Middle School, in El Paso Texas (since 2019, I'm starting eighth grade this year)! I have been an A, B student all my life, been part of a student council, fine arts, GT (Gifted and Talented), and UIL (University Interscholastic League)!

I enjoy teaching others knowledge because I know some of these teachers have changed lives, and that is something I aspire to be! I have tutored classmates and my younger family members. Like I have said before, I have been an A, B student all my life, been part of a student council, fine arts, GT (Gifted and Talented), and UIL (University Interscholastic League)!

I am an older sister to two younger siblings and older cousins to over 15 kids, so I have been around younger kids all my life. I Have also admired teachers as they are always helping children, their co-workers, and even the community! I'm always happy to help my younger siblings, cousins, friends, and even classmates! That being said it's my dream to be a teacher, so sometimes I volunteer to help classmates who need extra help.

I'm in eighth grade currently, I have attended these schools

Owen Elementary School at Tulsa, Oklahoma (2012-2016)

Crockett Elementary School at El Paso Texas (2016-2017)

Beall Elementary School at El Paso, Texas (2017-2018)

Guillen Middle School at El Paso, Texas (2018-Present)

About the lesson

I will try and talk to them as a friend, not a teacher. Doing this I hope I can connect to them, and understand them better.
