About Joseph

With over twenty years of teaching experience, in both private and public schools, I am a certified English teacher who offers unparalleled personalized, customized instruction. I work with students from Middle School through college. I can help your student improve reading and writing skills, including the often neglected topic of grammar. I am currently a high school AP English teacher at a renowned Long Island North Shore high school. I have extensive expertise in test prep (SAT/ACT), college essays, supplemental essays, the Commin Application, and all aspects of the college admissions process. In addition, I work with students on all types of writing assignments, from creative narratives to research papers (MLA formatting).

There is nothing more satisfying than seeing your child succeed. That may come from receiving a long awaited college admission or an “A” on a writing assignment. Most of my clientele comes from referrals and it is not uncommon for me to work with an entire family, staying with sibling after sibling from middle school through college. Let me help your child succeed.
