About Nik Syamsuddin
Hello future students! My name is Nik Syamsuddin bin Nik Mohamad and you can call me Cikgu Jojo. I’m a passionate and committed future educator from Kelantan. I have always believed that education is the key to unlocking one’s full potential. I am proud to say that I have been a consistent high achiever in my academic journey which is scoring 8As in PT3, 10 Mumtaz in the SMU examination (a religious-based exam unique to Kelantan), and 10As in SPM(5A+ 5A). I am currently pursuing my teaching degree at the Institute of Teacher Education (IPG), where I maintain a Dean’s List CGPA of above 3.75 every semester. But I believe being a great teacher is more than just having good grades. I am also actively involved in music, poetry, hosting, news reading, and traditional Malay art forms like syair and gurindam. I’ve taken on leadership roles in several major campus clubs and participated in more than 40 competitions and events, earning various awards along the way. One of my most cherished experiences was joining a volunteer mission with Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa (YSS) in Sabah. Teaching is not just a career for me but it is a calling. I want to inspire students to love learning Bahasa Melayu, to be proud of their identity, and to express themselves confidently. I hope to be not only your tutor but also your motivator and friend on this exciting learning journey.

As a passionate Bahasa Melayu tutor, I believe that learning should be meaningful, enjoyable, and connected to real-life experiences. My personal approach focuses on creating a safe and encouraging space where students feel confident to express themselves in the language.
I tailor each lesson based on the student’s current level, learning style, and goals whether it’s mastering grammar, improving pronunciation, or preparing for exams. I integrate storytelling, songs, and daily conversations to make lessons more relatable and memorable. Most importantly, I celebrate small progress and always keep students motivated by connecting the subject to their interests and culture.
With a caring, flexible, and student-centered approach, I help learners not only understand Bahasa Melayu but also fall in love with it.
