The 3 main goals of a golf swing are Good Contact, Right Distance, and Accuracy in my opinion. And the most golfers struggle with making consistent contact and trying hard to learn how to 'swing' before learning how to make consistent contact. If we make good contact every time, playing golf will be a lot of fun. I will teach you how to make decent consistent contact if you allow me to.
One needs distance before accuracy and more importantly needs good contact/impact before distance. I will teach you the basic fundamentals and tips on how to make good contact/impact every single swing to gain decent consistency. I will teach you how to develop low maintenance swing too. These fundamental swing basics will be helpful for the rest of golf career. Also understanding “why” before learning “how” to do is very important in my opinion.

And if you are interested I will demonstrate also how to monitor your swing while swinging. You will be able to see your swing real time and check if you are doing what you intend to do. This method will help you to monitor execution of what you learned and cut practice time considerably. 'Knowing' how to do and 'Doing' what you know is completely different thing in my opinion.
My objective in teaching the game of golf is to help my students improve their skills and develop their abilities. I feel an obligation to show a student how to benefit best from a lesson. The student will know and have an understanding of what will occur during the session. They will be given reasons for my suggestions and instruction for change. To quote the great Ben Hogan, “Don’t simply tell a player what he is doing wrong – that’s not much help. You must explain to them what they ought to be doing, why it is correct, and the results it produces. Then work like the blazes to get it across so they really understand what you are talking about.” I approach all our lessons clinics and schools with this enthusiasm and dedication.
My approach to teaching is to present a complete golf education that is plan based on making the student their own best teacher. I focus on improving what the ball does. What the golf ball does is my best source of diagnosing a golf swing, pitch, bunker shot, chip, or putt. My swing model is based on the Swing Plane. The swing plane determines where the ball goes, how much ground you hit and what part of the club face the ball hits. What you do with your body are the fundamentals that you to swing the club “On Plane.” Detailed evaluation of the student’s game allows me to improve the area that suffers the most.
All instruction is tailored to the player’s personal goals, physical abilities/limitations, and knowledge of the game.

Perfect! Sohn was the best instructor I could ever ask for.
I love how he applies analogies that I can easily relate to help me better understand his teachings. Example, he related some of the golf skills to tennis (a sport that I’m very familiar with).
I enjoy his patience and how he took the time to help me improve one skill at a time. This helped me better understand the foundation and the fundamentals of the sport.Perfect! I am a beginner and Sohn is a great coach. He is very patient and focuses on the basic posture. He also has a VR headset to let me see myself while I was making the swing. This helps me quite a bit in improving my posture and movement. His passion for golf definitely helps me positively continue to engage this sport.
