Experienced tutor - graduate full marks with honour in Data Science offers lessons on data subjects (data analysis, SQL, machine learning) for beginners and intermediate levels

Elena, has been my Data Science/Python/Pandas tutor for 18 months now and Elena is an absolutely fantastic teacher - so knowledgeable and very professional. I am well on my way to reaching all my goals because of Elena. There is no Python/Data science task that Elena cannot solve.

To give this any context, I am a teacher and have trained teachers for a number of years. I know Elena through one of the modules she is taking for her MSc where I am a demonstrator.

The first thing you notice about Elena is how she conducts herself. Where every other student expected me to kneel on the floor while I help them, Elena offered half her seat so I could sit down. She has a selfless attitude and is concerned with the well-being of others. Elena has a thirst for knowledge and seeks a deeper understanding of whatever her task is; this allows her a well rounded understanding of the problem and she tackles it head on.

Elena is passionate about helping others, and about teaching. Before starting her MSc, she regularly mentors school children in Italy and in the UK where she helps students learn either Italian or English. Her approach to teaching is centred around the individual. I have noticed this even at University level where she takes a great deal of time to ensure whoever she is helping, understands what is going on as opposed to just handing them the answer. She has the ability to ask the right questions, and to provide the right guidance with what the individual needs.

Elena is really approachable and has a welcoming attitude. The most important thing is, she cares. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She is fun to be around, has a lovely character and anyone would be lucky to have her as a tutor.
