Perfect! Working with Brian has been tremendously helpful in my GRE studies, which I didn't expect I would have to do for my line of studies until the last minute. Brian definitely knows his stuff. In addition to being articulate and paced in his lessons (prefers quality over quantity for single sessions, which I appreciated knowing I would better solidify concepts this way), he came prepared with a toolbox of strategies that I became increasingly familiarized with over the six weeks that I studied with him and on my own. He recorded the sessions (with my permission of course) so that I could go back and rekindle the learning pathways that got me to each of my answers, and this was helpful in going to my other resources for example problems and identifying similar categories of problems there, as well as how to solve them. He was flexible with my support needs in terms of providing instruction and periodic "testing" throughout, but never made me feel silly if I didn't know where to start with a problem. Brian definitely knows a lot of "tricks" that can't be taught just in books or through online study guides (ex. looking out for certain terminology and what pieces of language to focus attention on for reading/writing and knowing what strategy to use for a math problem based on the information I was given). Furthermore, throughout each problem, he provided helpful reminders to keep me utilizing the most appropriate thinking patterns. For example, I tended to answer a lot of the reading questions based on where the emotion of the passages took me. Brian taught me how to 1) read the passage differently and in a step-by-step fashion, 2) read AND re-read the question, and 3) evaluate the answer choices based on key words in the question in order to have the greatest chance of picking the correct choice. Finally, Brian was punctual and professional throughout my months of studying.

I felt pretty lost when I began the studying process and Brian helped me realize that I am much more capable than I realized when I have certain tools in my pocket that can really only be taught by an expert like him. I have tried online resources and study guides but only got so far before becoming discouraged. I would recommend Brian to anyone looking to improve their GRE scores or think more analytically and strategically in taking tests - for any age.
