About Emma
Studying recreational therapy after 4 years at the University of Guelph for political science. I have worked with a large age range of students with varied backgrounds. Volunteered regularly to help school children improve their reading and comprehension skills. Worked weekly with a Syrian refugee family to help with English comprehension.

For classes that are one on one I like to personalize the lesson so it is most effective. Usually have several different approaches to the same lesson so each student can understand the lesson. Depending on the learning type of the student I offer either short verbal or written quizzes at the beginning of each lesson to help brush up on what was covered in the last lesson.
