Very fun and a great teacher

My daughter plays trombone and learned a great deal from Ben. He has a great approach, setting a good level of expectations but approaching the student with a calm, gentle demeanor. My daughter's proficiency and confidence grew tremendously with Ben's instruction.

Ben is a really nice teacher! He is really good at quickly figuring out how to play the songs I wanted to learn. I always wished for a longer lesson because they went too quickly. He is really good at a lot of instruments. I loved listening to him play different instruments while I was in the waiting room waiting for my lesson. I definitely recommend Ben as a teacher!

Ben is an excellent teacher that I highly recommend. He did a great job teaching all necessary piano skills to my son while also making it fun! Ben is a great guitar instructor. Going into lessons, I had minimal guitar experience and also only a very basic understanding of music theory. I had the pleasure of taking lessons from Ben for eight months and in that time I surpassed my expectations of what I thought I could achieve. He is very patient and is great at explaining music in a language that is easy to understand. I highly recommend him as an instructor.

I started guitar lessons with Ben with a very limited knowledge of music. One of the first things he said to me was that anybody can learn to play an instrument.

Each lesson Ben taught me was accompanied with the mechanics and music theory behind it. Being more on the left-brained side, I appreciated learning that way. I improved quickly over a short period of time, and it was very encouraging.

Ben is such a great musician and person!!! He is very willing to help his students in any way they want to learn, and he's filled with so much knowledge that he's really excited to share with people. Very passionate and talented player, and great at explaining concepts to any age. It will be a treat to study music with him, especially if you're interested in the language of jazz!
