About Ariel
I earned a BM in jazz guitar from DePaul University and have experience in multiple styles with knowledge in music theory, composing, and arranging.
I have been playing for 12 years now and will be happy to work with students on anything, from reading tab to reading sheet music, from pop songs to jazz standards!
As part of my degree and experience I also have a background in ear training so I will always be happy to help student figure out songs that they can't find music to!
As a woman, it is important to me to be able to represent a strong role model for both young boys and girls from the start of their musical journey! I want to provide them with not only a new skill, but the confidence and tools to tackle tasks both inside and outside of lessons!
