About Jordan
I have had a passion for history for as long as I can remember, with a speciality in ancient Greek history. My goal is to help students to succeed by sharing my love for history with them and enabling them to understand its importance. I find many students label history as boring or unimportant, which couldn't be further from the truth.
I have a bachelor's degree in Ancient History as well as experience supervising and teaching people of all ages. I have worked with students both in the UK and in America and aim to help as many students as I can.
I have always had a passion for history which developed into a passion of sharing that love with others. The ability to give students further insight into the world of history is second to none.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Ancient History from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. I also have experience working with Italian and Russian students during an educational summer camp to help them work on their English and life skills.

I begin by gaining a sense of the knowledge a student currently has in a subject. This will also allow me to guage how interested in a subject a student is which helps to ascertain a willingness to learn. I prefer to use varying mediums of instruction from textbooks to media which can help to give students a different perspective on the subject.
I have worked with a variety of students from those who are incredibly engaged with plenty of background knowledge, to students with zero background knowledge and language barriers.
I would advise a student to look for someone who has a love for the subject. Educators who genuinely love what they teach have the ability to pass that love onto students more thoroughly, which can help information settle into your brain. It is also important to look for someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Learning should be fun! Especially when it comes to a subject as interesting and vast as history.
A recent event I am fond of is a trip to Ukraine in January 2020. It was an amazing trip full of sightseeing and education with a tour of Chernobyl. It was an eye opening experience which I would recommend to anyone.
