About Christian
I am a lifelong learner of the sport, horses and the ways we humans learn, change and evolve. I learn to ride as a kid from my dad who is a retired Cavalry officer. In 2007 I graduated from the Brazilian Army Equestrian School, since then I've been a trainer at different riding schools and a rider for breeding facilities as well as independent horse owners. I've had top 3 placing at National Championships in Ecuador, I've been State Champion and had top 3 annual rankings placing and have students also winning Championships and annual rankings. Since moving here to the USA I've focused on developing and improving my own riding so my horses can move up the levels, I'm currently competing in Eventing having taken my horse Donnie D up to the FEI 1* class this 2022 and Pogo up to the training level. Both of these horses have behavioral problems in their past. During my training here in the USA I've taken lessons with Olympic riders and trainers which have really improved my relationship and connection with my horses.
My uncle was the head pro at a big riding club in Equador. I began as his assistant and found my passion in teaching.

Christian is a kind and patient teacher who brings out the best in all of his students and horses. He is an extremely skilled horseman, and is always ready, willing, and able to help you work through challenges with your horse, and to help you grow as a rider.
I have been taking regular riding lessons from Christian for over two years now. I have found him to be a very personable, kind, knowledgeable and patient instructor and person. Christian also rides my horse as part of the lesson, which is very important to me. He gets a feeling for how my horse is going and can guide me to do what the horse needs.
