Experienced tutor in Literacy in New York, Olya offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Ms. Olya helped me with both college essays and SAT tutoring. She is really kind and patient with the teaching process. I enjoyed conversing with her, and I learned how to properly edit my essays. She is very good at teaching how to convey your ideas through writing. She also helped me get over the 700s for SAT English by breaking down all core concepts. Most importantly, I was able to get into my top Ivy dream school!

The classes are very indepth and cover all the different questions types. She is very patient and encouraging during our lessons.

A Pleasure to Work With!
Olya is a great tutor! She helped my daughter with her essay in a very short time. She worked not only during the time she spent with my daughter but also edited and offered suggestions in between sessions. I would definitely recommend Olya because she is patient, kind and encouraging and knows how to get the details out of anyone. I am happy to say that my daughter got into her dream school, which is Villanova! Thank you, Olya!!!

We had a wonderful experience working with Olya as our son's tutor! We are very pleased with our son's improvement in his writing skills and with his excellent SSAT score. We also noticed his increased confidence. Olya has been very professional and very patient. Olya even spent extra time to get familiar with our son's curriculum and reading list, so that she could best help our son with his assignments, and she always personalized each lesson to focus on our son's areas of need. She showed our son how to focus on details in both his reading and writing. She taught him how to strive for excellence. Olya is extremely competent and has a lot of enthusiasm. We will definitely continue working with her. Jennifer and Ray S.

Amazing tutor who relates well to kids! Here is my 5th grade son’s comment: “Ms. Olya taught me about spelling, writing, reading, and vocabulary. I now I have a bigger vocabulary and I know all the spelling rules. We also go over a chapter of a book a week. I am now in the top reading, writing and spelling groups in my school.” As his mom, I am so pleased to see his increased confidence and his enthusiasm. Thank you, Ms. Olya.

Best and Most Amazing Tutor

Ms. Olya T is the best tutor we have ever met. In three months, she helped our daughter improve her PSAT Verbal score by 220 points, which placed her in the 99th percentile. Wow! Olya knows how to work with adolescents; our daughter enjoyed her lessons and improved not only her language skills but her self-confidence as a result. Our daughter is now continuing to work with Olya on the SAT. My husband and I feel very fortunate to have found her. Tutoring with Olya has been one of the best investments we could have made in our daughter’s future. Thank you, Olya.

The Best Tutor I've Ever Worked With!

Olya has been helping me with my grad school essays and applications. She was diligent and made sure I answered every question perfectly and to a T! She was available any time through text when I needed her for had last minute questions or concerns. She was also just extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient throughout the long, stressful, process of writing application essays. Olya is truly the best tutor I’ve ever worked with! I am happy to say I was admitted into into all my schools with scholarship aid, including Columbia and U Penn. At U Penn my interviewer commented on my writing and said it was beautiful and admitted me on the spot. I got a personal letter from Columbia, commenting specifically on my essay as a major factor in my admission

Mrs. Thompson is a wonderful tutor. Over the past few months, we have worked on my writing and reading skills for the SAT. Now, I am able to find the answers to reading questions easily. We went over grammar rules, and now I feel really good about the grammar and usage portion of the writing section. For the optional essay section, Mrs. Thompson helped me refine my word choice, be more concise, improve my organization, and she has made me become a better writer. I now feel much less stressed about taking the SAT.

Excellent tutor and dedicated! Olya has been helping me improve my writing and English skills. What I like about Olya is that she puts in extra effort in making her students understand the assignments and writing process and that she wants her students to succeed. I've also improved my confidence and got A in my English class and A in my Art History class, working with Olya.

Exceptional Tutor
I am a graduating senior at Barnard College, Columbia University, and Olya helped me structure and edit my senior thesis. When I first came to her, I had an overload of writing and information, and Olya promptly set me on track in our first sessions. She helped me with my writing skills and emphasized cohesive structure and clear, unambiguous writing. I highly recommend Olya and am grateful for her incredible help, patience, and kindness in the writing process. Olya hits the ground running, arrives on time, makes space in her schedule for her students, and guides them to a finished product
