I have been a college instructor and professional tutor of math and physics, who has worked for the State University at New York (SUNY) system since 2012.

About the lesson

I usually prefer that students send me all their questions in advance before the tutoring session, so that I can review them and find my solutions in advance. This usually makes my explanation of the solutions quicker and more clear.

I would suggest doing a two or three problem trial and seeing if the teacher matches up with your learning style.
