About Barbara

As a math tutor, I encounter students of all different levels. I develop a plan with each one of my students based on their current classroom needs as well as close the gaps they might have from previous years. I make the concept easier to understand because I break it down and explain how the numbers work. Students enjoy getting tutored because they are taught from their conceptual level of understanding and build from there.

I enjoy the ability to work with students one-on-one in order to individualize their learning so that they can achieve their maximum potential on any given math assignment and or test.

About the lesson

Mathematics lessons offered by Barbara are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Doral. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

My daughter loves the way Barbara tutors. She is patient and explains things with such clarity that my daughter finally understood the meaning of slopes. Her dedication to teaching the students is evident in the fact that my daughter is now more confident in her math classes again.
