About Jimmy

Hello! Do you need help with a thing or two? My name is Jimmy, and I have had experience tutoring students in all subjects of Math for more than 17 years now with 4 years of teaching experience at a private school in Dickinson (2015-2019).

I also have worked with homeschooled students with Math. My hourly rate is a result of being extremely flexible with your schedule, excellent quality tutoring, and always keeping communication open. Unlike other companies and teachers, no minimum amount of teaching/tutoring is required per semester, nor is there a limit on cancellations as long as I know beforehand.

I can also teach the piano! I graduated from University of St. Thomas in Houston with a B.A. in Music. I have done many piano recitals throughout my time of playing. I currently have about 30 piano students, and I always am looking for more! Homeschooled students are also welcome. I organize piano recitals for them twice a year at College of the Mainland in Texas City (once in the summer and once in the winter) so that they may show off what they have learned.

Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance at St. Thomas University in Houston, TX

About the lesson

Most of the tutoring requests that I get are middle school and high school students, though we welcome students of any age.

Perfect! Our tutor Jimmy Garza was extremely courteous, professional and proficient. In addition, he was very accommodating as a student’s schedule can vary from week to week. I have been more than satisfied with his services and will continue to utilize his skills as needed in the years to come.
