About Meredith
I received my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and my master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University. I have loved tutoring math since high school and college when I would volunteer at middle schools. I believe everyone can love and excel at math and science they just have to discover how they learn best! There are many different ways to learn and I work with each student to find which way suits them best. I make sure to really focus on the fundamentals so that my students have a strong foundation as they move forward in their education. I love to study myself and am always happy to read textbooks or classroom materials so that I can support my students that much more. I have worked as an engineer in the pharmaceutical industry for over ten years now and I am passionate about making sure everyone is able to aspire to whatever STEM career that they want and not second guess their dreams because their coursework is difficult for them.
