About Paa

I like helping Middle and High School students get ride of their Math phobias, make sense out of Math and actually enjoy doing Math. I teach students the tricks that help them go into a Math exam with confidence. I have been teaching SAT Math Prep class on and off for my Church and have also being helping prepare individual students for taking the SAT Math.

I have a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Through peer mentoring, organizing remedial classes for high scholers.

I am an Electrical Engineer with a Masters Degree. I started teaching Math while in high school through peer mentoring. I have helped students who had given up hope and in desparate need for motivation and Math mentoring become high scorers in their class.

About the lesson

I have worked with Elementary, Middle, High School students.

A student who wants to get value out of their Math tutor should look for a teacher that will reveal to them the simple ways for organizing and remembering the various rules in Math and how to apply the theorems, rules and definitions to solving every kind of Math problem. I teach students how to solve seemingly complicated problems by first noting down what they know. In other words the rules, theorems and definitions.

I am currently teaching Geometry to a 10th Grader who has picked up the topics so well that he is able to solve sample SAT questions.

Mr.Richerd is an excellent teacher. Not only does he make sure you 100% understand your topic he also teaches you that everything you learned from previous years still apply and you need all of them as you keep moving on in your education. He also has a favorite line he likes to use called “simplify don’t complicate” it is so helpful because it shows you that math is not as hard as you think it is and even for new topics you can use prior knowledge. Mr.richerds has been teaching me for 3 years now and he really helps me more then my school teachers do. When I don’t understand something I go to him and for sure by the end of the day I’ll be an expert.
