About Jaime
My name is Jaime Potes. I have been a Spanish tutor for more than 5 years. I focus on my students' interests and needs to tailor a customized plan. I based my teaching on the communicative approach so that the student can develop the necessary skills to understand and interact with native speakers in real-life contexts.
I enjoy helping my students reach their language goals. I feel satisfied when they make real progress.
I am a licensed Spanish teacher that got graduated in 2005. Since then, I have been working as an educator in different settings.
I am a certified teacher with more than 10 years in the field of education.

I do a diagnostic test with new students in order to know their knowledge level. Then, I tailor a plan based on their needs and insterests. I focus on communication, that is, the student should be able to develop their skills to communicate effectively in different real-life situations. Speaking, listening, writing and reading is paramount in the teaching-learning process.
