She is wonderful. I never really liked watercolor painting preferred Acrylics but since I took her first class I'm hooked, she has inspired me to start painting again. I always enjoy her online classes.

Cindra is a breath of fresh air in a stifling world of chaos. She gives you the chance to be creative while watching and learning new techniques she applies to her canvas. She also interacts with her class on a one to one basis when a question arises. Her instructions are precise and understanding, but with choices for Individuality, She also allows for substitutions in colors and form to encourage variations apart from exact replications of her work. She praises all attempts finding something beautiful in each and every one’s paintings. What a pleasure to have her as an instructor!

Cindra is an amazing artist and a wonderful teacher. Whether you have never painted before, or are an experienced painter, you will learn a lot as you paint along with her. Her classes are a relaxing way to enjoy the fun of watercolor painting. Once you try one, you’ll be hooked!

I came in as a beginner in painting. I've always been artistic, but never tried this medium. Cindra was thorough in preparation and information on supplies, what to expect, modifications for different levels and supplies, and is an excellent instructor.
Not only does she continue to challenge, she is constantly reminding us of former lessons and what techniques we've learned and how to apply to another painting.
Cindra is pleasant and entertaining to listen to, knowledgeable, giving and introduces us to eclectic subject matter, infusing background, trivia or historical content in relation to the paintings, besides!
The class group is friendly, supportive and feels like a safe space to learn, share and grow.
I have learned and enjoyed watercolor so much more than I ever imagined! And much is due to the confidence from taking from Cindra. She will constructively critique, if asked, or just praise and appreciate.

This has been my first experience with water color painting. I have to say “I like everything about it”.
Covid or no Covid, I love the fact that I don’t have to leave my home to enjoy this class.
Not being computer savvy, she literally had to walk me through it (and she did so, patiently).
Cindra makes herself available (almost anytime night or day) for questions and suggestions.
She doesn’t pressure you to purchase anything other than the very basics - but shows us different options that are available to us.
This class has not only been informative and educational - but she has an outgoing personality and I think I can speak for the whole class- it’s a lot is fun!

She is so sweet and kind, comes across as very knowledgeable yet soothing, while being very specific as she takes you step by step through the painting process. Cindra is very approachable and answers questions immediately. While I’ve only taken live classes with her, she has prerecorded classes you may purchase and then complete when time allows you to paint. I plan to take one of these very soon. Could not ask for a better deal.

Cindra does an excellent job explaining technique and showing you how to achieve certain effects. Her lessons are easy to follow and she also does a great job answering any questions you might have. Her feedback is constructive and always helpful. As a beginner, she has taught me to paint things that looked far beyond what I thought I could do. I highly recommend these classes.

Cindra's classes are always fun and informative. She goes above and beyond even before class to send an image of what we're painting, to let us know the colors and materials we'll need, and to encourage us to paint with each other no matter our level of experience. She gives feedback throughout, answers questions, and engages with us personally and through our paintings. I look forward to every class.

Cindra prepares you in advance for anything you will need for the lesson. Being able to ask questions during the class is so helpful, and once the class is over, you can still go back and look at the video if you need to. Finally, once you've finished if you want to post your painting, she will give advice if you ask for it! I love how she really cares that you learn!

She is knowledgable, approachable, detailed yet flexible, humble, joyful, and goes the 'extra' for all her students while taking in account their individual needs/ challenges. Her personally is delightful!

Cindra is my second teacher for watercolor art within the last couple years. I have learned so many things in just two months with Cindra compared to the teacher I had for five years. i.e. 1) The size and shape of brush to use. 2) The color of paint for the best effect. 3) The weight, texture, and kind of paper and how it affects your results. 4) What gouache is and when to use it. 6) The various ways watercolor pencils work. 5) Other mediums to use with water color (gel pens, pastels, chalk pencils) for best effects.
The projects she picks for her classes are varied and interesting from animals to flowers to landscapes. The project is sent via email a day in advance for you to prepare your drawing for class with a list of needed supplies. The day of class she paints the project explaining each step as you paint along. The variety of techniques she teaches are endless; who would have guessed to use a credit card in watercolor?
She is so friendly and personable. She always finds something positive to say about your work (and as a quilting teacher, I definitely relate to that). She will critique your work privately if you send her a photo of your painting at the end of class and she even critiques projects completed on your own.
She gives a comprehensive list of supplies needed to begin. As you go along, she suggests other supplies to enhance your work BUT does not expect you to purchase everything she has in her repertoire. She always gives you a substitute that will work just as well. I am amazed at everything I have learned and painted in this short time. People are impressed with my progress. And her payment system is very flexible and more than reasonable.
I just cannot say enough about Cindra.
