After today’s lesson, I learned that I have been - without exaggeration - both singing and even SPEAKING with improperly engaged vocal chords my entire life. It turns out, my voice was never scratchy to begin with! Hannah has an amazing ear for the slightest of details and I know that I couldn’t have made all the progress I have without her help and guidance. Because of Hannah, what was always just a “what if” kind of curiosity about singing has now become my favorite part of Wednesday mornings.

I took classical voice lessons with Hannah for about a year in high school. She was always helpful, kind, and professional in lessons, and I learned a great deal from her. My voice improved so much over this time and I enjoyed learning a new form of music in singing. She introduced me to different music and helped me focus on the areas that I was lacking in to improve specific components of my voice. I have been taking lessons from Hannah Kim since January 13, 2016. I have watched Hannah play piano for years and I have always been blown away and impressed with her piano playing. When the opportunity to take lessons from her presented itself, I immediately seized the opportunity. I started as a complete beginner. She has the knowledge and skills to teach me all of the basics and the harder stuff (for me) as I progress through the lessons.
