Experienced tutor in Piano in Oak Harbor, John offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

John is a patient and kind teacher. He communicates well about our student's progress. When our student tired of the Method book he worked with him to find pieces he was more interested in.

John is a real treasure to our community. My son has been taking lessons with him for a little over a year and continues to progress and thoroughly enjoys his time with John. I really appreciate John‘s ability to relate to my teenage son and keep the content interesting, and engaging. We’ve enjoyed both in person and remote lessons and with each modality John is an effective teacher.

John is very patient and has a lot of experience, he has great recommendations for songs to play on a guided learning path. He is an amazing teacher, and I still continue lessons with him even thought I no longer live in Oak Harbor. I would highly recommend John’s lessons, they are amazing!

John has been very patient with my son and has truly brought the best out of him. He is always seeking the right kinds of lessons as my son's skill grows. Great at communication with both a 10-year old student and the parents. After two years we continue to have an uplifting experience every week.

John is an unbelievable piano instructor.
A maestro of the art and one of the most gifted pianists I’ve ever witnessed. I’ve learned so much through him and every week gets better and better. With John, the sky is the limit.

John is fantastic! He works with each student at their level. He is willing to change up his teaching techniques to get a student excited about piano.
