About Erin
I am an experienced tutor in English and English Composition (writing) for students in Middle School/Junior High, High School and College as well as for Business Composition and speeches.
I have been tutoring since about 2000, first in California and then in South Florida.
I love working with people and teaching them how to write! I have helped many students achieve excellent grades on papers, reports and other assignments, raising their GPAs significantly in all classes.

I approach writing with an outline format. A subject is chosen and we make certain there are at least 3 big supporting facts. Then we flesh out those facts and add opening and closing paragraphs. I also am a stickler for proper grammar.
If you follow my approach, it will serve you well in ALL classes in the future, as well as in Business!
I teach various types of arguments, including Persuasive, debate (argumentative), Expository, etc. and will assist in many report formats (MLA, etc.)
I use these forms for both writing and speech.
