I appreciated that Dr. Young assessed and responded to my needs as an adult learner returning to playing saxophone after a long hiatus. Eileen is a caring, motivating and enthusiastic clarinet and saxophone teacher. Eileen's instruction has helped my daughter to achieve a high level of clarinet playing. Along with my daughter's weekly lessons and at practice my daughter earned a trip to Europe for sixteen days. She has made All State band two years in a row. Eileen's instruction has helped my daughter with audienctions for the Winston-Salem Youth Symphony programs. My daughter has played for the Youth Symphony program for 2 years now. The biggest accomplishment Eileen has helped my daughter achieve was the audition that landed my daughter a spot at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts clarinet studio program. Yes, you read that right my 15 year daughter now 16 is a High Student at UNCSA because of the awesome instruction provided by Eileen.
