LifeScriptz Media Entertainment helps clients learn the necessary principles of screenwriting that will allow them to succeed in all genres, from short film to feature film, and beyond. We also push clients to explore deeper into their new worlds to bring out the very best in their characters and their journeys.
With a BA in English Literature and an MFA in Creative Writing, from Full Sail University — an industry leader in entertainment studies — André has gained the necessary knowledge, skills, and ability to cater to what Hollywood agents, and other production companies, look for in a script. He can help his clients create scripts that are worthy for major network television, the big screen, streaming platforms, or for the independent filmmaker who simply enjoys creating passion projects.
André's writing has garnered him numerous awards at local film festivals, including "Best Writer" of a comedy short and "Writer to Watch For" for the year 2017, at the TPN Film Festival Annual Awards. He has written numerous scripts for acting talent to fill out film reels and assisted in writing scenes for various web series', which star national celebrity personalities. He has also consulted on numerous projects for independent filmmakers, director, and producers, as well as rewritten others' scripts, to get them production ready.
Writing has always been a total joy. Only through the Full Sail University program did I realize that my true passion was for screenwriting. The ability to create an entire world, from nothing but my imagination, and manipulate my audience into feeling exactly what I need them to feel, is exhilarating. I also enjoy helping those with great ideas turn their ideas into screenplays that can almost be seen, as they're being read.
I have always had a hidden desire to help provide those with the desire to write the tools they need to bring their ideas to fruition. There is nothing new under the sun, so my goal is to take something that has been done before and put a new spin on it.
Using lesser-used techniques of digging a little deeper and figuring out the "whys" of a plot and its characters, my clients will learn to turn good scripts into great scripts and great scripts into works of art.
Let me help you create something that you can not only be proud of, because you created it, but because you also created it well.
Five years ago, I began a writing group, which consisted of actor/writer hopefuls, a college professor, who was in the midst of writing a novel, and other future screenwriters. Some members were creating first ideas, while others had various works already begun. Throughout this process, I realized that each member leaned on my skills to help move their progress along, at which time I began realizing that the long hours of studying had paid off and that I truly had a skill to match my desire. Since then, I have tutored numerous aspiring writers on the creative process, some who have gone on to film their own projects. I have been told that I have the ability to put others at ease and help them understand processes that others were unable to explain. Many think it's about using big words, when it's more about creating a vision in the reader/audience mind. It all depends on how the words are strung together. I use a grassroots approach to teaching that is simple, yet powerful.
I have earned a BA in English Literature and an MFA in Creative Writing. I have written numerous scripts of various genres, to include short, independent films, feature films, comedy, drama, skits, and single scenes.

My process depends on what part of the process the student is in. If the student already has a script that needs attention, I will first read the script and take notes. I will then share those notes with the student and discuss ways to bring the student's vision to life. This may include a breakdown of "The Hero's Journey," three-act structure, character or plot development, or a myriad of other helpful approaches. The student will be stimulated into learning the creative process and given time to apply the lesson and make changes. Once the student understands what's required, either creatively or through format, they will be given time to make corrections and resubmit the script for review. I will remain with the student throughout the project and help them to be in a position to not need my services again.
If the student doesn't have an idea for a script, the lessons will focus on the process of character creation, definitions, writing and rewriting, outlining, loglines, and other facets of the writing process. This will prepare them for their first script, which will be during these sessions, so prepare to create. How else will we know if the lessons are being absorbed?
Understand that writing is not a cut and dry, one-session experience. Anyone can put a bunch of words on sheets of paper, but to create a world that fits together, with all of the beats that a great script deserves, is a process. You get out of your script what you put into it. If you truly want to write scripts that will open eyes, it takes time.
My job is not to write a script for you, it is to get you to a place where you can write your own amazing script and understand why your characters go where they go and react how they react.
Always know that your first draft sucks...so do mine. It's okay, though, as long as you get the idea down. Keep writing.
Lastly, allow yourself to set aside what you already think you know about writing and receive the additional information that will either enhance or correct your perceptions.
Events don't excite me as much as reactions do. There is nothing like having a fellow writer call me and tell me that they're having troubles with a script and knew that I could assist them. The joy I hear, when we solve the puzzle of completion is second to none.
