About Ioanna

Hello my name is Ioanna and i am 23 years old. I have studied greek philology in Athens and now i am working as a teacher of teenage kids. I would like to teach also people who are interested in my mother language and culture. Our lesson will be based into your needs and we will focus on practising. I will be very happy to help you with advice and further information!

I have started teaching as a volunteer on my second year of university. Since then i am teaching people by going at their house but also online during covid.

I have studied greek philology and now i attend a seminar about teaching people with special learning problems.

About the lesson

The most important for me is to get to know each other and have a great communication. At first we can have a first online - meeting in order to hear from you your needs and your program. After, together we will settle our final program and we will start.

I have worked with students from 10 - 25 years old.

For me the key to a successful teaching is respect for the tutor-student and communication.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think of their availability, how many hours they would want in total, how many times per week etc. Very important is their goal too. Some people just want to improve their way to express themselves orally and others to get a full vision of the language.
