About Sara
I have worked as a tutor for almost three (3) years. I teach many students from the range of 7 years old to 17years old. I have taught students at the KUMON center and also taught other students who are taking the kssm syllabus.
I have majored in mathematics management in STPM and currently enrolling in degree majoring in Finance.
I love to teach because it truly makes me feel very happy when I managed to help my students to get good results for their exams. Teaching has also given me passion to teach when my students and their parents are happy with the progress.
A little extra note: My MBTI is ENFJ. Therefore, I'll try my best to keep the class lively and motivating for students to feel comfortable and enthusiastic to learn.

I am passionate and committed when it comes to teaching and guiding my students to achieve their goals. I have good chemistry with most of my students and I try to teach students according to their unique ways of understanding things. I have high level of tolerance and patience which is a bonus for students who needs to take their time on understanding things.
I believe that lessons should not be taken too long as it will drain the students energy and spirits to learn.
The lessons that I usually give is only 60-90mins. Depending on the students capability to understand the topic being taught during the class. For instance, if the class is 60mins.
30mins,i will teach .
10mins the students will do few questions from the exercise with my guidance.
The next 10-15mins, the students will try to do the questions independently and then I will check.
The remaining 5 mins will be a recap of the topic learned.
I will also prepare worksheets of questions for the students to do on the other days which they need to spend atleast 5-15mins on the worksheet only depending on their topics. I believe that the duration of how long the students does on the exercise matters. If the students are not able to do in the standard time given, I'll sit with them again and discuss where and what made them slow to see where is their weaknesses are.
Then I'll repeat the worksheets for them to try again.
I believe that time is important, as it measures the capability of the students to think and this way also promotes students to be disciplined and create a habit for them to focus on one thing in a short period of time. As a result, this will help students to score their exams as the examination has limited timing and help them for future purposes.
