About Riko
I am an experienced tutor who has started tutoring in my high school. Private and group tutoring experience has driven my passion to teach and nurture children’s passion to learn. These experiences enable me to be a good tutor who can teach different types and backgrounds of students with suitable approaches, even for those who have special needs in education.
As a student, I also understand the struggle in learning when I have no ideas on how to make improvement. I would thereby wish to pass on my previous experience to my potential student, to make them more eager to learn.
For me, tutoring is not a commercial product but a turning point of student. Knowing the proper way to learn helps students to discover oneself and the world more, which might stimulate one’s curiosity to the world.
Nevertheless, my flair in multiple languages like Putonghua, Cantonese and English helps me to communicate with different students easily.
In addition, as a professional tutor, I am more than willing to provide tailor-made notes with supplementary exercise to students when necessary to facilitate students’ learning and communicate with students in a regular basis.
