About Joy
I am a 300-hour trained yoga teacher. I love working with folks one-on-one or in small groups. Yoga is more than just a movement practice. I help you find your yoga.
I feel so glad to share yoga! A private session can be more conversational and is geared toward each individual. This can help you feel more agency in a studio class, or you may want to develop a home practice. I love encouraging people to be kind to themselves and to be present in their own lives.
I am getting started now! I finished my teaching practicum last August and am working on building my clientele.
300-hour Yoga Teacher Training at The People’s Yoga in Portland, Oregon.
I have had a formal meditation practice since 2012.
I am an artist and a student of life.
