About Maria
Hey, My name is Maria and I am a 24 year old living in London who graduated in Biological Sciences (Zoology) with a 2.1 in 2024. I've worked with children in an SEN school, forest school, as a caregiver and when completing community work in conservation organisations. I am interested in maths tutoring using this platform as I would like to increase the number of students I can help.

I offer maths tutoring for primary and secondary school students preparing for exams or simply looking to improve confidence in class. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student, focusing on breaking down complex problems into clear, step-by-step methods. I use a mix of past exam papers, as well as any questions they might present as ones they've struggled with. As an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, I understand the best lessons are the ones that engage the student. As a result, students who learn with me often gain more confidence, improve exam technique, and have an enjoyable experience.
