I am entering my Junior year at the University of Southern California, where I have a National Merit Scholarship based on my ACT score (35) and pSAT score (1490). I have prior tutoring experience through Varsity Tutors, where I worked with a variety of students to reach their goal scores. In my free time, I love playing guitar, writing songs, and listening to music.

Hello, I'm Ingrid! I am a junior at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. I have a passion for helping students improve their scores on college admission tests, such as the ACT, pSAT, and SAT. In my previous experience as a tutor through Varsity Tutors, I have found that positive reinforcement, personalized prep plans, and practice questions with feedback are the keys to success on college admission tests. When tutoring students, I like to talk to them about their strengths/weaknesses, then build a plan for each session that incorporates review of difficult concepts, practice problems, and pacing strategies. I want to do everything in my power to ensure that tutor sessions are enjoyable and highly productive.
