About Rhea
My lessons in Chemistry focus on developing a strong understanding of laboratory techniques through an analytical and application-focused approach. I keep the atmosphere relaxed, allowing you to explore complex topics without pressure. Together, we dive into instrumental analysis, learning how tools like spectroscopy and chromatography are used in real laboratories and industries. We cover NMR, IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy in detail, understanding how each reveals different aspects of chemical structures. Chromatography techniques are also explained step by step, showing how they help separate and identify compounds effectively. Quantitative analysis is another key area, where you’ll learn how to measure and interpret data with accuracy. Throughout the lessons, I emphasize why these techniques matter and how they’re applied in industrial and research settings. The goal is to bridge theory with practice so you see the real-world value of each method. I also support those working in chemical engineering or even DIY formulation, helping them master sophisticated lab techniques relevant to their projects. Every session is designed to make analytical chemistry more accessible and meaningful. We work together to solve problems you may face in practical work, making the subject relevant to your needs. My teaching ensures you gain confidence in handling instruments and interpreting results correctly. You’ll build skills that go beyond textbooks and prepare you for real laboratory challenges. Let’s bring the lab to life in your understanding and help you excel in applying chemistry where it truly matters.

I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 5 years of experience and an MSc in Environmental Chemistry. My teaching approach is holistic and interdisciplinary, especially focused on electroplating and surface finishing chemistry. I help students explore the fundamentals of electrochemical deposition, diving into electrode kinetics and bath composition. We study how these factors influence material properties and the quality of coatings. Together, we analyze industrial applications, understanding how surface finishes enhance both aesthetics and protection.
I enjoy working with students interested in materials engineering, manufacturing, and applied chemistry. My lessons connect theory with real-world challenges, making complex concepts accessible and engaging. We discuss how coatings not only beautify surfaces but also extend their durability in harsh environments. I emphasize practical problem-solving alongside deep chemical understanding. My goal is to empower you with knowledge that bridges lab science and industry needs.
Chemistry has the power to transform surfaces and create materials that are both functional and long-lasting. I’m excited to guide you on this journey and help you build confidence in mastering these fascinating topics. Together, we’ll unlock the potential of electrochemical processes to innovate and protect.
